ACADEMICS

We have received accreditation from:

Accrediting Association of SDA Schools, Colleges, and Universities (AAA)

National Council for Private Schools (NCPSA)

Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA)

The academic program at Hinsdale Adventist Academy follows the curriculum as developed by the Office of Education at the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.

Our small class sizes, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 12.5:1, ensure that each student receives the individualized instruction he or she needs to be successful.

We are also proud to have participated in CognitiveGenesis, a groundbreaking study that discovered that students in U.S. Adventist schools perform a half-grade level better on average than those in public and other private institutions.

Per the study, the longer a student attends, the greater their success.  According to the NAD, children in Adventist schools score in the 70th percentile, or better than 70% of all schools taking the test nationwide, which includes public and private schools.

Demographics

HAA prides itself on the diversity of its students. Members of our HAA family come from many locations and backgrounds, all seeking the highest quality combination of academics and Christian standards. Even with our Christian foundation, though, we happily and sincerely welcome all students, regardless of religion or ethnicity.

Our International Student Program also provides a wonderful opportunity for students from around the world to immerse themselves in American culture. Each student is loved, appreciated, and celebrated for their differences and encouraged to share their culture with their classmates.

Below you will find data related to multiple aspects of our student population, including Gender, Grade, and Ethnicity. These metrics paint a clearer picture of the faces in our student population, and we believe they further demonstrate how special of a school HAA is.
