Once a Hurricane, Always a Hurricane...​

 

Inspired by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1904, Hinsdale Adventist Academy was founded with a mission to provide an education rooted in strong Christian values, rigorous academics, and a well-rounded global perspective. That same spirit continues to shape HAA today.

 

Independent thinking is woven into everything we do—our mission, our curriculum, and the relationships cultivated between teachers and students—all grounded in the shared commitment to place God at the center of our lives. Our teachers are empowered to understand each child’s unique needs, adapting instruction to support genuine, holistic growth and an educational experience shaped by Christ-like principles. Students are encouraged to think critically, explore with confidence, and navigate an ever-changing world with purpose, service, and leadership—firmly anchored in Christ.

 

This philosophy extends to families as well. At HAA, we begin with shared beliefs about what a meaningful Pre-K through 12th grade education should offer, but those assumptions serve only as a foundation. Through an intentionally designed, Christ-centered program, students discover their identity, contribute in meaningful ways, and excel beyond what they ever imagined.
